Mission Trip- May 2017

My call to mission work will take me to Malawi, Africa this May for 10 days. I will be the dentist on the team doing Oral Surgery and Emergency Dentistry. The photos below were sent from the medical team that is currently in Malawi. The medical team brought in a wheel chair for a 15 year old girl who was born with club feet. Her mom carried her to school on her back every single day because they had no other means to get her there. The other photo is of a man happy to brush his teeth for the very first time with a toothbrush and toothpaste. It truly is a blessing to be a part of helping people in need. We will update everyone with more photos when we return from our mission trip in May. The parable, “Stand on the shoulders of a giant to see a bigger horizon” reminds us that this is the work of our Lord, thanks be to God.
